Pre flood situation

muzzafar Ahmed Malik another flood victim who lost his property as well his source of livelihood to the September Floods.Muzzafar Ah is a father of 3 kids, 2 of them are still in kindergarten and one in a school. His wife is expecting a 4th baby. He ran is livelihood by plying auto rickshaw. With a monthly income of not more than 4000/- he aspired that his children should read and make a name for themselves The floods took away everything he had, even his hope to restart his life.

The auto rickshaw he owned was damaged beyond repair. Muzzafar Ahmed says, “When CHINAR team visited my place, I was in a state of hopelessness. I had nowhere to go, I was slipping into depression. CHINAR gave me a reason to live again”

CHINAR under their livelihood support program procured a second hand load carrier for Muzzafar, he now is hopeful for a better tomorrow where he sees himself supporting his family in particular hisyoung kids and be a father figure. He dreams of his children to receive good education.
