CHINAR International that quality education is the solution that addresses the root cause of many of the problems plaguing our society in Kashmir. The reason we strive to provide a vulnerable child with a nurturing environment is so that the child can go to school and get quality education. We believe that education is the way out of the cycle of poverty for vulnerable children and that it's only with quality education that such children can reach their full potential and contribute to their immediate community and the world. We believe that investing in education now will pay dividends for generations to come.

CI does not planning onbuilding new schools but working with the existing school system. CI is collaborating with the Department of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) in mainstreaming of vulnerable children and enhancement of quality of education by way of helping in catalyzing, strengthening and coordinating different DSEK schemes that already exist in the school system under CI's Education Bridge program. This will include activities like remedial education, community mobilization, teacher training - sensitization - motivation - incentivization - resource and other related infrastructure support like libraries and playgrounds.

Besides DSEK, CI is also collaborating with communities to promote literacy and gender equality in education

Girl Education
When you educate a girl, you educate a family. When you educate a girl, you educate a nation. Educating girls is the most powerful and effective way to address poverty. It yields spectacular social benefits for the current generation and those to come. An educated girl tends to marry later and have healthier children. The children she does have will be more likely to survive; they will be better nourished and better educated. She will be more productive at home and better paid at the workplace. She will be better able to assume a more active role in social, economic and political decision-making throughout her life.

CI's aim is to get more girls into school, ensure that they stay in school and that they are equipped with the basic tools they need to succeed in life. When you educate a girl, you educate a family
